There has been an attempt to use biometric techniques, monitoring of terrorists' movements, or the analysis of finger prints to facilitate identification of terrorists but these techniques have not so far been used.Let us take for example that one aspect of terrorist activities which you should look out for is the change in clothing that they wear. If they change their clothes, they may be trying to hide their identity. That would be the kind of information that could assist you in apprehending the perpetrators.But if you start looking at the way that some terrorist groups have moved into the group of their co-fellow group members, then you may also be able to get at information that is not easily available through the fact that it depends on the social position, personal history, etc. It may not be easy but the earlier it is brought to light, the better the chances are of putting it to use and preventing terrorism from occurring. It is only through research and inquiry that the needed data can be collected.In fact you should get as much information as you can, because not all sources of information are the same. There is the difference between local knowledge and specialist knowledge, and the latter is not something which one can gather easily. So it would be advisable to find other ways in order to get more information.
